Can anyone tell me what the cost of the chubs of Xkaliber at greentripe.com cost. Also what is the amount to feed a very active 85lb 2 1/2 year old male, 70lb 2 year old female and 55lb 11 month old female, I am trying to figure cost to feed raw and I have yet to get a call back from the company. Thanks!

figue 3 to 5 percent of body weight.  You will "tweek" it from there if they get fat or not.

Haven't feed GreenTripe from mary for years.  But do know if you buy in bulk you will save a lot more. When feeding it I was feeding three dogs and depending on the dog, I would feed about a .5-1lb a day to each dog.

I order about 45 lbs of Xcaliber in one pound chubs every few months.  I only have one dog.  I paid about $2.25 per chub in late August.  If I had three dogs, I would buy 5 lb chubs because it is cheaper.  I buy it direct from GreenTripe.com which is in August.  There now are distributors in various places and that brings the price up.

This morning, Pharaoh had a 1 pound chub of defrosted Xcalibur, 1/2 tin of sardines packed in water and one cup of TOTW High Prairie soaked in 1/2 cup warm water.  He loved it.

Pharaoh is a very high energy calorie burning machine.  Some days, most maybe, he will get a second meal. probably a chicken quarter.

I don't think most dogs eat this much.  He is 85-90 lbs and very lean and muscular..

PS.  I just called them and here are the prices per roll.  (tax = shipping additional)

1 lb  2.25
2 lb  4.10  (2.05 per pound)
5 lb  9.75  (1.95 per pound)

It will keep in the refrigerator defrosted for 4 days.  Apparently, some people buy the large chubs and defrost them enough to cut off what they need, then put it back in the freezer.
