I need to get my pup tattooed. Anyone know where I can take her in Washington State? My vet office does maybe 1 a year and I want someone with more experience.

East or West side? Do you have all the equipment needed? There may be a veterinarian with more experience if you call around. Or maybe contact some breeders near you and ask if they would help. The other option would be microchip instead.....

I live in the western part of Washington. My pup is microchipped but in order to do USA/SV dual enrollment, she is required to be tattooed.
I do not have any tattoo equipment.

Perhaps contact one of the Breed Wardens listed for Washington.
Question for those with better SV contacts...... Wasn't the SV going to change and recognize mircochips?

The SV does. For the USA registration, the dog has to have a tattoo. If I just ordered a scorebook, I wouldn't need it but I want to actually do the dual registration.

they are listed on the USA web site. under TATOO.

Jacko,
Thanks. I got that. However, a few of them do not actually tattoo. They verify the tattoo numbers for the paperwork and sign off the dog matches the number.

You can contact me, I am a tattoo warden & I tattoo :) We are south of Portland I have people come from Washington to get their pups tattooed.
Yes, in Germany they require a microchip they use the ISO 15 digit chip. They are no longer tattooing. :( I just tattooed an import pup for his owner even though the pup was chipped.
