Just wanted to share a video taken today of "Hachi" our pick of litter male sired by Hessel from O'Donnell. His first time climbing the gravel and playing tugo'war with our grandson. If you are not familiar with Hessel just search both boards or online to see what an excellent top notch dog he is.

I need to post some videos of the Hessel Amber pups. Took the male 10 weeks old to a Police Dog seminar last week. He watched the big dogs biting the bite suit and went crazy so I let him go just for fun and he tried to jump up and bite the jacket but only made it to bite the guys A...
It was so funny. The little guy was just hanging there and fighting like a big dog. I miss Hessel but I tell you what, he is one heck of a dog and producer and I am glad you will continue to use him.

Cute puppy!

I am not going to comment on the sire as I dont know him, never seen him work. And here I am not talking about a routine I am talking about itroducing the dog to something completely knew and watching the dog solve the puzzle and see how he copes with it and comes out of it as a whole. So no clue here.

Cute puppy and have fun. I love this stage, they are so ......pure... lol.... when they bite you and think that is the best thing and you can do nothing, besides bite your tounge and find a toy and hope that the sucker gets interested enough......

Birgit! Please post the video! I would love to see it! He is a great dog, I just started taking him to training and I have already had an offer from one of the other club members to handle him for me, LOL!

I don't care what anyone says about Hessel! He is freaking amazing and if they don't like him...........oh well, they must like week dogs then! He is no joker!

Hachi is available to a working home only, we're keeping one (maybe 2?) of his sisters and we have an older half-sister (also sired by Hessel) too. Non-stop drive all day long, only dog we have that thinks nothing of jumping all our fences whenever she wants too. We love the intense focus and solid nerves that our Hessel offspring have. Hachi's littermate brother went to his new home today to a fellow that wants to get started in schutzhund, they had only had American showline pet dogs before, they were very impressed how this workingline litter was much more confidant and outgoing than what they'd experienced before.

Nice puppies, reminds me of my boy at that age...........funny though how when I said on here that my boy whined like that while on the tug, some people were quick to say he had weak nerves because of that......right.....Nice video though.
