You need to bypass the CDN setup when you are having problems like that (those without problems should not ddo this, since the CDN setup will considerably speed up their experience)

Add the following line to your hosts file:

217.171.208.18 static.pedigreedatabase.com cdn.pedigreedatabase.com
  ----
do that by doing Start-> run   (or left windows key on keyboard + R) and typing:

notepad %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

or notepad c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

and paste the line on the bottom.

By doing this you are bypassing using your DNS for host lookups.   This will fix the problem.

PLus the page errors and the privacy warnings from third party pop-ups.

??  Privacy warnings and third party pop ups.   that does definitely not come from this site.

Sorry to be blunt but there are perhaps 3-5 people out of 700.000 (unique per month) who are experiencing your problem.  this current setup (with the CDN DNS filtering)  saves me bandwidth cost and makes the site faster for the rest. I won't change back.

From what I hear this is a problem with your ISP's Domain name server (DNS),  nothing I can do for that problem.  The only solution I can give is to edit your hosts file.

Otherwise contact your ISP and ask them why they don't resolve static.pedigreedatabase.com and cdn.pedigreedatabase.com

Done all that a couple of times....... took my laptop to Evansville yesterday..(75 Miles east)..worked fine...... Dunno, either your provider or mine lies and doesn't have their shit together.... my guess is someone doesn't want to admit they have problems. That doesn't cover the third party redirect that I hit the other day.. or the pop-ups. No matter... should have used better manners.. 700,000 is a lot of hits isn't it.......

I think there are a lot more than 3-5 people having trouble..Mahon told me he got into the same problem and said to himself       Shove it __________ I do not need the  hassle of this S---

Now that shows me a lot of people just went off and said    not gonna fool with it..

I believe a lot more people are sitting closed mouth...aftaid to open their mouths...

My pictures are still not showing   on   this message board....Firefox only    My Internet explorer who ddidn'n like this site  now is working and showing my pictures and I did nothing to my  file or added nothing.  My computor man just disabled add ons.

Oli, the system is running TERRIBLY slow for me again and I can't see photos again. It appeared the problems had been resolved a few days ago and now they are back again. I live in Southern Indiana. I'm sure there are others who are having similar problems but aren't getting on here to let you know because they just give up and close out of the system instead of waiting and waiting for it to finish loading.

Moderator edit: Oli you are now employing Taliban moderators to moderate your "Taliban database"? Post left for Oli to read. Oli hurry with your new features.
