To any experienced helpers out there. I am having a real difficult time finding a good cleat since my last ones recently kicked the bucket. Always used soccer, now have tried a football and for me it was a bit too "grippy" if that is even a word. Thats my biggest concern getting too much dig into the ground for catches.
Which do you use and models, pros and cons

I use an adidas soccer cleat, my favorite is the F-50, they are hard on the bottom so they are a little uncomfortable to walk around on on hard surfaces like when you are done training but they are ideal for the work in my opinion, not too "grippy", yet not too slippy....

Have had good luck with Adidas. I prefer mid tops... I would buy a couple of different types and keep in your training bag. You never know when you may have to switch your cleats do to the surface you train or trial on.  I train on a dirt field and for trial they will roll the field so it is very fast surface kind of like a indoor soccer field, turf cleats are the ideal choice.

A helper just bought at couple of pair of nice Nike football cleats of all place Ross dress for less. Paid less than $35 for two pair of cleats.

The type of surface and conditions often dictate which type of cleats.  I played american football so I prefer using high top football cleats.  The cleats are removable so as to use smaller or longer type cleats.  I also use football turf shoes that have a molded bottom.  The nubs on the turf shoes are smaller.  So I tend to use this shoe more in summer when the surface is harder.  I prefer Nike and Adidas products.

I use nike Mid Football Cleats. found a pair at Dicks sporting goods for 40.00. I am usually on grass and prefer the rubber cleats.  I dont think that the removeable hard plastic ones are a good choice due to safety concerns for the dogs.

I have a mid football cleat, (Adidas) very happy with them. The cleat is a softer rubber so I can work dogs on anytype of surface. I also like that they have a velcro strap so I can fold the shoe strings into them. I never have to worry about the strings coming untied or flying around.

Canada, eh? I like the low top Nike football cleats, but if there are a lot of women out there, I wear my Tiger Woods golf shoes. They're irresistable to women and seem to give me extra endurance. Plus when I bought them, there was a cross-promotion. They gave me a 48 pack, or 1 week supply, of Magnum condoms. The Ben Rothlesberger Nike Football cleats didn't come with anything, but there was a phone number on the box for a defense attorney.
