I am just putting this request out as a feeler to see whether this may or may not be a viable option for me. I am at a stage in life right now where I don't have many obligations and I am trying to decide which path I want to take right now to get to where I want to go. In the future I would like to have a very active German Shepherd kennel involved in show, schutzhund and herding. My choices are to stay where I am at right now and learn over a very long period while I acquire responsibilities that would make it difficult to travel or I find a kennel or trainer that would be willing to employ me for perhaps a year and give me a crash course in a kennel/trainer's daily work in training and conditioning dogs for schutzhund and show and also allow me a very good way to develope personal contacts in the GSD world. I would be willing to go to relocate to just about any country (I am a US citizen) I do have a german import, pink papered GSD that I must be able to bring with me and be able to train him during my off-hours and compete with him at shows (if he is ready) I also have 2 cats, a russian blue and a balinese, I would prefer to be able to bring both, however if needed I can leave my balinese with a friend....my russian blue must absolutely be able to stay with me though. I must earn a profit and be able to support myself and my pets and still save some money. I have 4 years experience in working at various kennels, including working for labrador breeder and international judge Sally Bell (Borador kennels) I can provide letters of recommendations. I also have 2 yrs experience working as a harness race horse trainer's assistant and groom. If there is a very active kennel or trainer out there that concentrates mainly on schutzhund competitions and is in need of an assistant that they are willing to mentor please consider me. Conformation shows and herding is a plus. Thank you, Courtney Fletcher
