Thanks to all for the well wishes. I laid him to rest under the oak trees behind our house where he could watch over us and see the sunset every day. He has the wicker basket he crushed while practicing his object guard along with his rubber balls, retrieve socks, leash, whistle and a copy of the picture I posted earlier so he'd remember he was a champion and I will always be with him.

I am so sorry, I feel for you, I really do....I do understand and it is always sooooo hard....
PIP sweet Mali....only Mali owners do understand how special they really are...tears to loved ones....

He sounds like a special dog and I think he knew how much he was loved.
