Well, through a wierd transaction (too difficult to explain here and there's probably a limit to file size LOL), I now have Ringo. I recently retired my explosive detection K-9 Blesk and will start imprinting drug odors on Mr. Floppy ear. He has great ball drive and is neutral to environment (slippery floors, trucks, loads of people, etc). He should do well for school searches and other public places where we have a contract for.

Nice pedigree, but his purpose will be strictly detection oriented.

We just bought in 3 dogs from Slovakia and paid good (not great, but good) money for them. 2 of them are going to be dual purpose patrol/drug dogs and one will be explosive trained. Already one of the dual purpose dogs cannot meet an evaluation standard....so where does that leave us? Either the kennel overseas can credit us and we use him for single purpose detection work or we can ship him back...a hassle either way.
