To Webmaster and Creator of this Database Oli - Page 1

Hi there Oli, we have been lectured quite a bit last week, about what some individual Moderators judged to be appropriate on the Database (while violating the rules themselves). Now it's fine we were advised to NOT insert url's and links that would lead away from this site. I have always tried to answer questions about ancestors and pedigrees to members of this board, giving away lots of url's that lead to a particular dog or breeder, which in my opinion does not in any way affect the success of this site. On the contrary, people keep coming back here to find usefull and particular info or advice. Now where's the Moderator when one needs one? What Franck "Aniwa" is doing today (with all due respect to him, he does have a very interesting site and I'm sure he's an honourable man), DOES lead people away and is obviously an ADD (different adds). In my judgement, he should either advertise on this site (and support it by paying for the advertisement) or respect the tos of the site. Just my two cents.

I didn't violate any rules, I don't have multiple names, etc. but Oli is now the only moderator for now as far as I can tell. Hopefully he'll see this and take care of the postings you're referring to. Good luck

I think the Aniwa site complements this site rather nicely. The pedigreedatabase only records what is already known, and relies on the users to supply the records, Aniwa goes out there to record it.

vomlandholz. . . This is confusing me. Are you saying that the only moderator on this site is Oli? What about you, Saoa and the third moderator (sorry I forgot who it is) are you no longer moderators? I appeciate your answer. Thanks, Melody
