At least one person went to the Great and Powerful Oz and acquired a brain.

Nice cool day for dog training, nothing better to do?

Well, I don't live in Pakistan, so I would not presume to know what a decent (albeit mixed breed) guard dog might go for. I can tell you my area many rescues/shelters adoption fees are in the neighborhood of $250-350.

And while to our eyes it may seem like a dog should be free to a good home, at least paying a small amount puts value on the animal's life, and if someone is willing to pay a few hundred bucks for a dog who will bark at intruders, and someone gets a little money they may actually need, who are we sneer? Got enough dog problems (hell, got enough of any kind of problem) in our own country.

Yes, paying for the spaying is a fee in it's self, Now days that alone can run you a couple hundred.
