Were these photos taken before things got really ugly or does this story have a really happy ending?
Hey, I'm not sure people who let their dogs play with polar bears should be allowed to have dogs, but that's just me.

Gotta say, I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it for myself. Who woulda' thunk it possible?
While I was at Youtube I wound up watching another very short video clip that apparently was taken from a National Geographic Special. It also was an encounter between a tethered sled dog and a polar bear, although the encounter was not as heart-warming as this one was. I'm not providing a link to it. Too graphic and far too violent.
I recommend anyone who hasn't seen the video that Scarlett Akai provided a link for to check it out. Well worth your time.
