This is a 21 month old GSD female. We just got these a few days ago. They've already been sent to OFA for prelimbs and I'll be sending a copy to the SV for certification. Anyone have any opinions? I think it will be interesting to see what OFA gives them vs the SV. Of course, it will be months before I get the SV results. I will update with OFA and SV results as they come in!
Keep in mind, the clarity is not nearly as good as the originals. I tried to sharpen this up a bit, but still doesn't look as clear.

Look good, I don't think OFA will grade until 24 months; SV I believe is 12 months and so on. OFA may want you to retake at 2. ??

They will grade it, but won't certify until 24 months. I'm only sending them to OFA for pelimbs just to see what they say (grins and giggles). She'll be oficially certified via SV.

Hip wise the dog has pretty scary pedigree. But proof is in the puding. Hips look OFA good to me.

Yup, good thing I didn't let the pedigree scare me off ... I actually thought her hip background looked pretty darn good compared to some of the other junk out there. Not the best, but not the worst. But, that is just my humble opinion.

Overall, my bet is that they will certify out through the SV just fine. My best guess is that OFA vets will not like her left hip (the right side as you look at the photo) greatly, due to some acetabular changes. She has good coverage and the insertion looks good. You'll have to let us know what both the SV and OFA's findings are. :)

Hips are Normal a1.OFA Excellent at worse may go OFA Good.
