What is minimum requirements and you need to look for in male GSD to consider worthy for breeding?

I know sometimes people breed crap just to make money........

Thanks!

Edit: Crap is a bit harsh, there are no dogs I would call crap but not worthy for breeding.

My aunt had working line male, very good work dog "strong SCH3 dogs in pedigree" but this dog had small paws and some pups from him end up with small paws too.

for me, Schh titled (prefer Schh3 for a male), or HGH titled, or working Police dog, or working/certified SAR dog I would consider depending on the dog and if it is worked in grip work or other avenues of training to test his temperament and drive.   hip rating of Good, a-normal (would consider fast-normal or ofa fair if females' hip rating is better) - the dog must be healthy with no recurrant lameness issues, allergies, ear infections, or gut problems.  I would also look at the dog himself, and his immediate pedigree for any known bloat problems, or other life-threatening illness that "runs in the family".  correct size, structure of SG or V - temperament, no handler aggression, no undue dog aggression, no spinning, no other obvious nerve-strength issues.  I also look at the genetic grip behavior, and of course what the dog has produced already (hips, temperament, drives, structure).  Lastly I look at the color - I prefer dark pigment so prefer to breed to dark dogs.  Solid black, black sable, dark red sable, dark black/tan or bicolor.  Unless everything else about the dog was absolutely phenominal, I would not use a grey or washed-out dog - just not my preference.

My description was FOR ME - there will be various opinions and people who breed with different requirements -

but the minimum requirements for breeding a registered litter according to SV rules is Schh1, passing hips/elbows, minimum G conformation rating.  After that (if the breeder is following the same rules and not their own rules) then it's up to the individual what they are looking for in a stud dog and for their program.
