I took my new pup to the Vet and he has coccida the Vet gave him Albon. I know that Coccida is sometimes caused by stress and that Albon only will retard the growth of Coccida. What I am wondering is this. What can I also give him to help him get rid of the coccida faster,I have him on a grain free dog food pinnicle and duck. Is there anything natural that any of you know of that will help him. I am just trying to give him the best start in life that I can. other than this he is doing great and we really love him. thank you and have a great day :)

Sometimes when I get my new puppies they will the this as well. I always use Safe Guard (the liquid) 1cc per 2 kg . Twice a day for 5 days and then repeat after 3 weeks

I second what Bhall said. The Marquis IS the very best. If I remember correctly the treatment time was far less then any other treatment available and it got rid of it on the first try. 3 day treatment I believe, then a retreat in 2 weeks. ( It's been a few years so please don't quote me on it)

I just used it for the second time. It is incredible. The pups respond within 24 hours. Diarrhea GONE!!!

Marquis is an antiprotozoal active ingredients ponazuril it is made by Bayer.

It works very quickly and can get rid protozoans for good, so I have been told. Maybe a follow up treatment.

You only use a very small amount. I will look for dosing directions and post back.
