So tired of all the fighting so I'm posting a pic taken today. I have thick skin so please critique away. And yes, she was fiercely wagging her tail. My son had her ball.

Melba, I really think she is a nice girl...Not to mention I love sables..We have two also.. I am not an expert on confirmation sin of the german standard, but I will tell you what I see.
Very nice should angulation, nice pasterns. Very nice topline, nice croup...Her rear is not stackedas good as it could be, but it looks good...I love the rich pigment, nice dark face...Over all, if you are not happy with her, I'll feed her...

croup is short and flat, but is a very nice dog. how dark are her eyes?

To me the croup could appear short because of the tuff of fur onn the tail....I have a dog right now, that appears to have a very short croup because of a tuff of fur that we can not get to flatten out...When he is wet, you can tell he has a very nice croup. I do believe the way she is stack does give a little to the imagination....With that I will say there is no perfect dog, so we must take alittle bad with the good...

Melissa, you have a very nicely structured dog. Upper arm and blade both long and well placed. Back straight, good croup with good angle. Rear looks nice, certainly not over done at all. If character marches structure, I think you have a good one.

Nona, she's awesome! Being she's almost 6 years old, I don't believe the tuft is going anywhere. LOL

Rik, Thank you! We just finished doing a 3/4 mile track over variable surfaces ( thick brush, corn fields, high grass and a dirt road) and she is the happiest tracking dog I've ever seen. She was born to track.

Sitasmom, her eyes are dark reddish brown.

The only problem is that she is on the small side, 58lbs. Not that I would complain if I had to carry if she got hurt though.

Melba, I never would have guessed she was 6..My God she looks great......Being on the small side has its advantages...If you should ever need to carry her. Dynamite comes in some packages...One of our sable bitches, my daughter calls mighty mouse...She is 22 inches tall and weighes about 55-60#. She is one of a very tuff little lady, at 3yrs old, and backs off of nothing for any reason....So I can understand how you feel...Regardless,we love her and I do like your "little" lady too...

Very athletic looking, and well proportioned female. IMO, she is very snappy looking for 6 years old and quite pretty too.......JMO....

I really like her too, her overall structure and substance are really nice. She is very balanced and looks fantastic for her age. Great working ability too.. You cant beat that.. I think her size is perfect. I Would rather have a 58 lb female than a 88 lb female..

She's a well-built, beautiful dog, feminine-looking which is completely fine, nothing appears "off" to my eye but I ain't no expert ;-) She looks like she can work all day.
