This is a beautiful dog. Has anyone has seen him work since he got to the USA? I have only heard good things about him. Paul

While I have not worked him, I have a male pup out of his first US bred litter. I have spent time with Boban and really, really like him. My male pup (14 weeks) is showing a very good temerament. Caiman (my pup) is fearless, level headed when put in a stressful envoirment, focused even amid heavy distractions, driven for toys and food!! and is just plain a nice dog. His siblings are the same type of temperament as I keep in close contact with several of them. I think Boban is a very special dog. His owner, Julie Marlow has been a dream to work with and continues to be woderful and supportive. She really cares about the dogs she is producing. Caiman will be either be my Ringsport or SchH partner.

he failed a koer in the netherlands due to "aggression". i don't know the details. but he IS a gorgeous guy, isn't he?

I was wondering why he is only sch 1 and has sired pups already. $1500 is a lot from a young stud with a sch 1. What makes him such a great dog? He's only three. Please I am not bashing. I am trying to learn about him and other dogs in general. Thanks, Jack

Jack, Why don't you contact his owner, Julie Marlow of Vom Banach K9 she can fill in the details for you. Also, not only is Boban SchH1 but he is protection trained as well. I can't comment much on the pups prices but will say that Julie has just recently raised them after years of all her pups going at low price. I think part of what makes him special as a stud is his last litter. The pups were FANTASTIC in temperament and looks. I know it was only one litter I was basing this off of....but the litter was exceptional. Can you tell I like this stud? LOL :)

Yes, it seems many people do. I will contact her when I am ready for my next dog and I'll keep my eye on his progress. Thanks, Jack

Jack15, a Sch 3 title can be a very good indicator a dogs working ability but not the only test. If a GSD's talents and training are in the service arena (patrol K9) why not concentrate on training there. Sch does not show if a dog can bite on all surfaces, Sch does not show a dogs willingness to confront a suspect under a vehicle or darkroom. Folks who breed GSD's for service work like to see Sch titles. But also know that the titles can be deceptive and not an overall indicator of a dogs working ability. Kyle
