We asked for clarification of the TOS that refers to this issue. Basically if it promotes another website, then no. If it is informative and not promotion only. e.g. dosage information for dewormers ok, link would be ok. Link to the newest, latest and greatest GSD on the earth, no :D (NOT referring to anyone, just pointing out the difference) vomlandholz

I do not have to much time to post here these days, But let me get this right. Top Dog asked for information about the Mexican Sieger Show, A topic that I myself am interested in. Someone replied and gave the web address so we could have the info, and that has been moderated out. But ISN'T THAT THE POINT OF THIS SITE ????????????? This is a global site that is used for sharing information, and now you are making it hard for us. I just want to go on record stating that I disagree with the moderators, and I am annoyed that I have been looking for the info on the show, and that info has been provided and then taken away for the reasons stated above. So just to be clear, I will use myself as an example. If someone came on the message board and stated that they were looking for a breeder in Maryland USA, and someone took the time to answer, and posted my website address, Would it be removed as well ?? If so this is a change, not for the best. Also if information on the Mexican Sieger show could be emailed to me that would be great, I am fearful to post my email address, but I am sure it is connected to my name. Respectfully, Carl Morgan

If you'll notice, I posted a 2nd time to clarify the TOS. So yes the mexican seiger show site could be posted (feel free to repost) As to your 2nd question, if someone is looking for information then the link can be posted. If it was to promote your website, e.g. Jane Doe thinks Fokwulfe kennels@xyz.com is the greatest, then that would be removed. As always, people can always email the poster for more information if needed.

Unlike some other breed boards, everyone here is now marching to the same drummer. No selective spankings since there are 2 more mods. The TOS does say no URL's I think. I agree it does make it cumbersome, but as long as the rules are applied acrossed the board and follow the TOS's set forth by Oli, I myself feel it's the correct way to moderate this board.

Thanks Blitzen. I'm sure we'll have missteps along the way, but we (the mod's) have read and reread the TOS, asked for clarifcation where needed and are trying to stay on the same page regarding interpretation of those rules so they are applied across the board equally.
