What do you think of their temperaments

I have only ever met one and he was pretty mellow. Low drive but was very social. Very intimidating looking dog though. I don't know that much about the breed but thought I would share my expierence with them.

I'm actually hanging with one right now. I just came down to pick up my new GSD pup and the people we stay with when we are here have a Dogo. He is the sweetest dog.
As with ay bully breed they take a strong owner. Blue is deaf, but he knows hand signals and he's really one of the best dogs I've ever known. His ears are natural so he looks like a big doofus, and he is VERY social and loves people and belly scratches. I've known him since he was ust a baby.

Funny! Coincidentally, I just had one tonight at my grooming salon! I haven't seen one in years until now.
I was the only one in the salon who knew her breed right away :-)
She was very old, and also deaf, but calm and very affectionate.
