what dog do you think is best sire

weberhaus

by weberhaus on 18 August 2010 - 04:08

It will depend on what you are looking for in a pup from the Sire and also does the sire make a good fit for the Dam. So the best match is the that will compleat both dogs. Not what the new fad of the month is.
Good luck

Gorgeous.

One of my favourites right now is Jago.  I think he's pretty popular right now, but i <3 him and thinks I might like a Jago puppy if he is still being used when I'm in the market for my next pup in a year or two.

But like Weberhaus said, it depends what you want and whether he compliments the dam well.  What one person thinks is great others me snub.  You could have the best sire you can find, but if he doesn't compliment the dam you won't get the best puppies.

Best for what? What is best for one person is not what is best for other. It would help, TX, if you described what you are looking for in a puppy. I see you like Geck ( I think he's tunning, too) so you clearly like masculinity and a nice head. What about working ability or athleticism? What kind of HD/ED rating do you prefer? Is there something genetically you are trying to get for yourself? Do you want to do sport? On what level? PPD? Conformation? Therapy? Does it need to be solid with kids and other dogs?

Best is a relative term.

I really like this one, he throws his size and pigment and has an excellent top line.

Thanks Robin, you do the same.  Got a meeting in a few minutes here with the Morton Buildings guy.  We're building a new training building with an 8000 square ft. AstroTurf area for year round training and agility trials.  Gonna be sweet. Heated, A/C, and humidity controlled along with my 6 acre bluegrass field,,,,,,,we'll never have to leave the property.
