Brick just turned 6 weeks, he is fearless and wants to chase anything that moves. Especially my pant legs.
Stacking such an active puppy is almost impossible...

Brick looks very nice.

i have heard of quite a few breeders in germany that do this type of breeding, as they dont want to spend all that money on a dog that does not produce , after all the  main reason why they tittle is to breed.  i dont see a problem with this.

can i ask why do people stack like that it kind of makes the dog look crippled jmo

by SitasMom on 15 August 2010 - 21:08

Its all a double edged sword isn't it?

Spend a year and thousands of dollars to train and title and end up with dogs cannot reproduce or that have horrible puppies, or have a trail litter to see what a dog can produce and catch hell from the purists.......

so far
Hero has a SG
Sita has a BH

its just the beginning

Like doing a crime to see if it's worth going to jail, or going to jail to see if it's worth doing the crime? It's probably really about money, so make sure you save those mega bucks for training!

Geez, I could be wrong, but if my memory serves me correctly Sitasmom, you yourself used to be one of those purists with  newcomers that came to this board wanting to breed their pets.

GDSPACK
I go to training at least 2 and sometimes 4 times a week in 95 degree heat. The closest club is 45 minutes and the farthest is 90 minutes drive each way. Its Tuesday and Thursday for sure, and Saturday night till late and Sunday mornings at dawn.......every chance I get!

I get up early and I take Jyota out for coffee and socializing in the morning. I take her to every event I can think of, she goes shopping, we sit every veterinarian's office with in a 15 mile range, tire store, fire stations, schools, construction sites, the beach, busy parks, near the busiest emergency hospital, etc........ She is almost bombproof!

I also I work Jyota in SchH, SV ring training and agility, Hero in obedience and rally, Sita has been on vacation but will start up again soon, Hanny is fully titled and expects to be included in training or she becomes depressed. They get a 2 mile bike pull at dawn 3 to 4 times a week. I do obedience with them every day. Its too hot for tracking - too many fire ants and not enough due to find my tracks.

I can only do so much! I don't see a problem with sending them to a professional trainer for finishing and titling.....

Just shipping a full grown dog costs hundreds, a few months of finishing school, a title and breed survey and the cost quickly rises into the thousands........
