Does anyone have an opinion on this food? I was thinking about mixing it with Prince's kibble....It is a fresh, freeze dried food, made in Irvine CA.....the pet store down the road from me keeps it in stock and they claim it GREAT stuff...

Can you find fresh raw? I just added green tripe to my dogs food and the coats already look really nice. I recommend it but it is stinky but the dogs love it and the coats are beautiful in a months time.
Many here who know more have left this site but some should still chime in.

Fresh raw would definitely be ideal.
As a note, however, if you go raw, its more or less an all or nothing thing. It is very risky to feed kibble and raw to the same dog.
Dehydrated raw and kibble are just fine.
Another option, for those who are interested in dehydrated raw is The Honest Kitchen.
I try to keep a few boxes around for camping, emergencies, etc.

Mudwick......Why can't you feed raw and kibble together?

I'm just gonna repaste the answer I gave to the same question via PM to another member:
We know that raw is safe to feed, because dogs have very short digestive tracts, allowing the raw food to pass through so quickly that any bacteria contained in it doesn't have a chance to colonize and cause harm, right?
Kibble slows down the passage of raw food through the digestive tract. If you happen to get raw food with bacteria on it, there is the chance, due to the kibble, that the bacteria will have a chance to colonize.
Danke almost died of colitis from mixing raw and kibble.
