Papas Fritas

With this logic, if a baby shits its diaper, then babies should be banned too. NOTHING smells worse or can clear a room faster than baby poop. And I love it when people just drop everything and change the diaper right THERE for the World to see.

C'mon people, it's dog poop... Get over it.

I wouldn't put it past some people to resort to this crap for a buck. It certainly makes no sense to me, because it sounds like someone isn't providing their dog with a time and proper place for defecation. We assume this is a highly trainable animal because it is a service animal. I fault the owner, not BIG Y.

Also, how could it be a "set-up"? That would assume that this individual with the service dog had prior knowledge as to how the store would have reacted. I believe she felt humiliated by the store manager, and that is why she wants to possibly pursue some form of legal action.

She saw deep pockets, and if she is humiliated it is because she neglected her service dog's basic needs in regards to its bodily functions. How lame an excuse that she was "cleaning it up" when it was her fault it happened in the first place. The point is, unless this dog was ill, she should have made sure it never happened. Again, we can assume that a properly trained service dog is a housetrained dog. If she knew the dog was not properly housebroken, she should have realized her dog is not suited to its job. So either neglect of care or training is still her fault, not BIG Y's.

"Well, Papas, you say it is "only dog poop" -- so, how would feel about it in a Restaurant ?"

The same way I would feel about a man or woman changing a diaper in plain view of me at a restaurant. I try not to lick the floor, or eat food off of the floor, in any supermarket... Dog poop is probably the least of your worries on a supermarket floor. How many times in a supermarket do you see a child sneeze without covering its mouth? How many times do you see a child takes its fingers from its mouth and touch something in the store?

I just thinks it's a "wee bit" conspiracy minded to assume that this woman knew her dog's poop schedule better, and she planned a law suit based on the reaction of an unprofessional store manager.
