I've been following the debate on the exposure of military confidential documents on WikiLeaks. I don't agree with it, for the simple reason that it puts people (lives) at risk, but I know that there are no "sacred cows" in real journalism (versus tampered, pandered media "news" releases to which we've been treated in the last twenty years and more).

My shit has been parked all over the curb, recently, apparently (to me) prompted by the betrayed confidence of a former "friend", for things that happened well over ten years ago, and all based upon one local newspaper article, the source of which was known to be friendly (and, I believe biased) towards my accuser/s.

At any rate, I was thinking how nice it would be, really, if the public got to see more, behind the curtain, into areas which are normally kept hidden from prying eyes and curious minds.

There are no doubt secrets.. dark secrets.. in every industry or area of human activity. Corruption, sloth, incompetence, malice... Maybe people would be more objective.. and honest..  if these secrets were revealed more often. As has been said before, "We live in an age of transparency". So, let's pull the covers off.. all of them.. and see what's underneath! This IS the heart and soul of the First Ammendment! I've seen too often that the accusers are often the ones who are up to the REAL dirt, and their expose's on others is one of the tricks they use to divert attention from their own misdeeds.

If anyone has any dirt.. real facts and documents.. to more accurately portray any industry.. not just small time dog breeders, but corporations (for profit and non-profit, alike), which are acting questionably out of self interest, and government agencies and political factions which have become corrupt, then there is an opportunity to set the facts out for public scrutiny.

I think Wikileaks is awesome. It takes a certain breed nowadays to gain and manage the title most dangerious man in the world. Glad he's on our side, and evidently all his associates and whistleblowers too !! Amazing HUH ?

Veterinarians in Carson are working to save 64 German shepherds that were living in squalid conditions at the Gardena kennel. Most of the animals were kept in tiny crates that were filled with excrement. An officer was called to the kennel because of loud and continuous barking coming from the South Bay Pet Inn. Many of the dogs were living in carriers that were just 2 x 3 feet wide. "They couldn't move around for exercise. Three was no food or water in most of the cages. Inside the living room of the house was a female German shepherd with five little puppies in one of those carriers." Janice Bartmess denies the allegations that were made on Thursday. She thinks the problems of the kennel are being exaggerated. "I say it's exaggerated and there's a lot of lying going on. I'm not saying everything was perfect. I think the situation between my side and what they are saying is absolutely bipolar ...." It is really sad how you brush it off as just  "...things that happened 10 years ago."   What happened to those animals under your care was no small thing Janet.  Maybe if you showed an ounce of remorse for the hurt and suffering you caused so many innocent animals people may be more receptive to the stuff you put up here.  I for one can not figure out why you still do.  Of all places for a convicted animal abuser to frequent...obsurd.
