These men are True Heroes & deserve recognition....
'What would you think if you drove up to a home at nearly midnight that was on Fire and found 2 adults and 5 children standing outside ... at least everyone got out ... right?
But now the Father thinks one daughter might still be inside.
OFFICERS BRENT BIEKERT and KRISTIN WEISBACH both ran into the home, made their way upstairs to the little girl's bedroom and attempted to enter. But the door was locked. That was not going to stop them.
They managed to kick in the door but were greeted by heavy smoke, heat and flames.
They retreated quickly back down the stairs, retrieved a hose and ran back up to the trapped girl in this inferno. But they couldn't get back in. They tried so hard but the flames proved to be too much.
They were being overcome by the smoke.
There was nothing more they could do.
As they got back down the stairs and looked around as they were ready to leave the house, they saw her! The child was sound asleep on the living room sofa. Completely unaware of what was going on.
OFFICERS BIEKERT and WEISBACH gently but quickly picked up the little girl and brought her to safety outside, reuniting her with her family. She turned out to be fine.
After paramedics looked her over at the scene, she was released to her parents.
There are a few lessons to be learned from this. And some questions I imagine but the bottom line is that these two WARRIORS did not hesitate for a moment to run in when everyone else ran out. And a little girl is alive because of the selfless acts of these two Police Officers. AWESOME WORK BRENT & KRISTIN !

Thanks you for sharing that, it's nice to see some appreciation for the usually thankless job they do! And thank you officers BIEKERT and WEISBACH for going above and beyond your call of duty, you are true heroes!
