Rabies certainly every year and if you are travelling to France it is advisable to have a vaccin for heartworm since quite a few dogs have been affected by it after their visit to France.
Lyme disease cause by teek is indeed here in Europe, during hot seasons before my dogs starts venturing outdoors I personally use Frontline which is absorbed by the skin of the dogs and last about 3 months, quite effective I must say.
Mosquitos luckily not, hate those little buggers and I am glad the dogs are spared of those blood suckers and the diseases they could be carrying.
