found this wolf/dog hybrid pup being advertised as an extremely high content rare blue on a questionable mass breeder site. In being completely honest with myself I would love to have solid blue wolf hybrid. But I really think wolves deserve to be wild and free living amongst their own, and not used to satisfy a humans need to connect with or domineer over nature certainly one as "high content" as the owners claim her to be.

That is not a wolf Sangreinu, so it couldn't be running free as one.
The blue?
I would run the other direction personally.
People who do this shit make me wanna commit a violent act.

yeah run the other way indeed the ad was very short it says
"extremely high content female wolfdog, rare blue coloring only 6 in country, 16 weeks old all shots" $1,200
funny thing is when i first saw it it said only 8 in the country...
yeah ... truly honest people

I once thought a wolf hybrid was something I would be interested in, but after having one it only made me sad and I realized the complications of owning such an animal.

When I was young (around 7-8 ish ) I had the opportunity to live with one. She was actually my aunts, but she needed a place to stay for a few months so my family took her in. She bonded to me quite quickly, was smart as a whip like to keep me in sight at all times, and even once saved me and my friend from a doberman that broke through a window to chase after us. okay around kids, but was extremely wary of strange adult men.
All in all as a pet I don't think my aunt knew how lucky she was in getting a hybrid that was more omega in temperament, from what she told us it was purely an accidental breeding by someone she knew. ( who even knows how reliable that is) But that didn't mean Pepper didn't have her issues. Separation Anxiety being one of them. If you look at wolf pack dynamics one of the worst things that can happen to a wolf is being kicked out of the pack and being left alone, she dug like crazy, and was always getting into things. ( not to mention the marking)
I like the concept of wolf hybrids in that wolves are significantly less disease prone animals (genetically). How often do you see a wolf with hip dysplasia? I also love their build and movement, things that nature has been perfecting for a million years.
But I just believe wolves and most hybrids have a tempermeant, and a spirit that is not meant to be kept in a house hold, or interact in the world as you think a good dog should. They just haven't evolved with people interaction in mind. I definitely think Joe Schmo should not be breeding them and passing them out to the eager public. It's like they are knowingly creating tragedies.
Eh my 2 cents

Pit bulls don't come in "blue" these days. Only am staffs and am staff mixes. You will never see a purebred real deal pit bull which is blue, despite the rantings and ravings of their 19 year old "expert" owners. ; )
