So I came across this ad where this dog was described as having "good angulation" both front and rear... I know this is a controversial subject in the GSD world  so I'm just looking to get a consensus of the board.

Maybe, maybe not...hard to tell with the overly exaggerated stack and I'm pretty sure that's a picture of a puppy so it's anyone's guess what he grew up to look like as an adult.

That's what I don't understand about stack poses... They in a sense are meant to show your dogs "good side "   so why put your dog in a stack that makes it have the shape similar to those old style tricycles... : /  Not saying that all stacks are bad, but sometimes it's really nice just to be able to see/ evaluate a dog in a natural pose.

The top and underlines of that dog have been digitally altered; not to mention all the use of the stamp-clone tool in the background. I think I've seen this dog before in another picture... but not this altered one.

Looks to me, the only altering done is to take out the man.... Look at the tree line.

No, JC is right; I noticed it as well but thought it too obvious to mention.

Pretty bad photoshop if you ask me.  This dog has been cut in half and replaced with another similar photo.  Who would fall for this?

It seems like every time a dog looks like someone stomped it's rear down to the ground that all the show line people come out to say the picture was photo shopped or it's a bad stack.   Maybe it was a bad stack, but still, the structure of show line dogs today are horrible.

"show line people" Ouch! It's not about the type of dog. If you can't tell this photo is altered, time for an eye exam.

I see where it's altered, I'm just saying about show dogs in general....not necessarely about this photo.   I just say show line people, since a lot of working line people have no interest in show line dogs.  How else do I state .....people who like show lines more......lol
