Today I had to say goodbye to Abbie. Her age and illness had finally overcome her. Her 12 years have been a blessing to me and my family. She was the best, hands down. I miss her so much. It was so hard.
I want to thank those of you who have helped me when I had questions about her. It was wonderful to learn about what made that crazy coat. It was also a relief to get answers on how to make her last year more comfortable. I can not thank you all enough for that.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have been in your shoes myself, as many of us on here .. But remember, its not the end, its the beginning. We can only thank God for the time he shared this gift with us.. Hopefully we all learn from the experience.
Your Abbie taught us that color has nothing to do with the heart and soul of our beloved German Shepherd. Thank you for allowing us to be part of her, by introducing her to us on this forum...

Im Very Sorry to hear your sad loss, i can also feel your pain.. but ur very lucky to have her for 12 years.

I am so very sorry to hear your sad new I have walked that path many times over the years it is not an easy one god gives us these wonderfull friends to share our lifes with and we are blessed think of all the love that Abbie gave you and you her rip Abbie
