I just deleted what I thought was a great shot, I noticed my male was also showing off.
The pictures are very cute. Thanks for sharing.

I have to admit, I did save one even though I had a weird/lost expression on my face & even though I had my hair tied back the wind managed to give me scarecrow hair lol...But Galan was just focusing so well on me! Darn it!!
I suppose I could crop out the bottom (he was sitting kinda weird) and my head...but I'm hoping someone will chime in and say they have Photoshop and can easily edit it out for me ;-) hahaha!!!!
Your Pyrenese looks like such a sweetie... Care to tell us about her/him?

Axel knows how to enjoy summer! I had a pool in the yard until about a month ago when a little tornado dropped down right in my backyard and sent it flying into the fence cracking the bottom. I really need another one to distract Chase from the hose. He's fought with the hose so often the thing looks like a fountain from all the tooth holes, and it's like taking a shower trying to water the garden.
My pyr is a rescue. A friend saw her tied to a tree next to a broken down old trailer as a puppy without food or water so one night she sneaked up and took her. She asked if I would keep her long enough to find her a home, and she's been with me almost 11 years now. She's so dysplastic she learned to walk supporting her weight on her front legs and barely touched the ground with her hind feet when she was young. She's gotten better over the years as she muscled up, but she still has to pull herself up onto the couch with her front legs. I would have her hips replaced, but she's so hypersensitive to anesthesia that when the vet tried to spay her she stopped breathing immediately after receiving a very mild dose of sedative and had to be reversed. Fortunately, she's never had a real season.
She's a great bitch, and I absolutely love her even though she is extremely independent. She is about the opposite of a GSD in temperament and desire to please, but I have learned to adapt to her instead of trying to make her conform to my wishes. Her name is Pinkie. I'm a classic movie buff and always loved Adam's Rib with Tracy and Hepburn. In the movie, they both called each other Pinky. Pinky for Tracy and Pinkie for Hepburn.
Thanks Steve for noticing my lawn. I have almost an acre fenced around my house for the dogs and mow it by hand because it looks better to me than using a tractor. I wish I could train the dogs to push a mower!
Here are shots of the tornado in my yard. I was out taking photos of the storm when I noticed a lowering with rotation in my field:
The funnel became more organized right above my tool shed:
The wind was so strong I had to go inside at this point:
It fell apart right before touching down and reformed east of me as this stovepipe and did a lot of damage:
