Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could give me some sites or information on some of the good Malnois breeders?  I'm hoping to get one in the future and would like to start looking around now, but I don't really know where to start.

Thanks,
Haley

contact site memeber, urry.  he seems to have good contacts for mals and dutchies.

also, I believe powerhaus has started importing from nice KNPV and dutch lines.

If ya have around alot of kids, other animals and ya want a house and family dog ... forget the KNPV lines. Those are more bite everything that moves all the time kinda dog. NVBK have reason. Both are serious dogs, but bred different. JMO> But I dunno. (edit) I'm not a breeder.

Hello Hallix,
Ivan Balabanov breeds Malinois under the OT Vitosha Kennel. The link to his site is below.

I have seen many of these dogs doing many different things.  If I were ever to cosider one for my self it would be from this kennel.

Hi Haley:
What would your purpose be in getting a Malinois?  Knowing the sport in which you wish to compete, or the work you wish to do with the dog will help folks direct you to the appropriate breeders.

Here's another breeder of good, multi-purpose working Mals:

I will soon be breeding my imported girl Zala to P Chaos des Ombres Valureux, these should be excellent working/sport dogs.

Thank you all for responding!

k9riot:  I'm going to want to do schutzhund with it.  I might get into Ring sport as well.

BabyEagle4u:  So your saying the NVBK lines would be better to have around a family and other animals? Do they work just as well as the KNPV lines?  If anyone can give me any more info on the differences between these lines, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Haley

I think the NVBK lines have more control of their minds and heart so to speak ....  I think KNPV lines have a more fight fight fight with everything additude all the time ... this is just my opinion. I'm not a professional dog person or breeder ...

I like the best of the best and buy exactly that, and in my experiences the NVBK Malinois has more control and heart with environmental tolerances expecially in regards to unfamiliar kids, people and animals which is a must for my kinda living. NVBK Mals don't go running around looking for a fight or on edge with everything that moves. Just more control of themselves. I dunno.

Everyones preference is different I'm sure. This is just mine. Good Luck.
