KAH1963

by KAH1963 on 19 June 2010 - 14:06

I really really hate writing this message but Ive reached to point where I must....due to unforscene health issue in my family I am no longer able to properly care for my three babies...I reaching out to you all on this site hoping that perhaps you might know of any responsable shepherd owners how may want them and are will to give them the home they deserve. I have two females DDR/Czech, one 2+ years...Gali...she has EPI but its regulated, she is doing fine with medicine, which runs me approx. $100 every six months, she is active, and in good shape, I have another female Storm approx 8 months , she is just a dream dog smart, gorgeous, and eager to learn anything, and last my Adolf he's full DDR intact and he is 21/2 yrs old, he had beg and med obedience, but not really for the novice owner. But Adolf has great potential to anything. I also have two Goldens who will need homes. You dont know how its killing me to do this but after trying to keep a house going, nurse a sick husband and much more I just cant do it by myself anymore, so Im asking for help...please if you know anyone who might be interested and is in the NE region(PHILY,MD,DE,NJ), I cant afford to ship them, I live in Maryland, I will give them the dogs aslong as they have references and I know they are going to a GREAT forever home...feel free to email me and I'll will give you my information and tell you more about my dogs if interested. Thanks.

Keep your chin up. I know life at times doesn't go as planned. I will put the word out and say a prayer for healing and strength for you and your family....
God Bless you all

Kimberly, I hope you have contacted the breeders of both the GSDs and the Goldens and told them of your situation...you may be embarassed (unecessarily, I might add--life happens, and it's not always manageable) but they deserve to know that you're looking for good placements for your dogs, and they very well may be in a position to help out with that.  I hope you're able to find the homes you're seeking for them, and understand how much this has to tear at your heart.

leciesters doghandler, few of the K9 units in the US are willing to take a female, and fewer yet would take on a green dog that is too young to hip and elbow certify.  The 2.5 year old male might interest a K9 unit, since he's still intact, so it could be worthwhile to investigate that avenue for him.

true i dident think about the hips and elbows ..too much money put in the dog and they dont even know if she will pass the training also as for the male i would want my DDR working the streets and not in a kennel etc
