Thank you. Is there a way I can verify that Astor had a brother named Athos?

Sorry, but I don't know enough about doing GSD genealogical research to be much help to you. From where I sit though it looks like if this dog has the same mother, same father, and same litter letter then it is more than likely that Astor and Athos were brothers. Looks to me like you found credible evidence that a dog named Athos v Waldiyll existed, was registered and also reproduced on the basis of this pedigree. There may be other explanations, but I can't really imagine what they would be. A mistake on this pedigree? I couldn't venture a guess as to the likelihood of that. Hope this helps you with your problem.
