So, it's 3:51 and I can't sleep. My daughter bought me a new iced tea jar and I just HAD to make some and drink it at 11:00. So, since I saw that Two Moons is also up so late, I figured I'd start a thread for those times that you just can't sleep. Nobody else is around and you cruise the threads of the day, looking for something interesting, or somebody still awake. Well, here ya go!
You can discuss anything on here, anything that comes to mind. What you did that day, what you plan for tomorrow (besides sleeping), what color your dog(s) is/are, jokes, stories, etc. Anything fun! Lets see how many sleep deprived people we can find.

It's 9 am here and just deciding whther to head down to the 2 day National show. Don't know if I can cope with 9yr old son and 7mth old puppy squarking in the back of the car for an hour down the M6 though....
Need more coffee before I decide!

Coffee is such a magic word, and beverage! That's a tough decision with little sleep behind you. You might need the whole pot.

I do not think i have really had a good nights sleep for over half of my life time since i took of vhe Queens Uniform
I am an insommic plain and simple, I Cat Nap just as i did for over a Year before i came home It was not possible to fall asleep in those days you had to be on alert all the time otherwise you may never have woke up,
Whether it just kept on in normal life i do not know but i react just the same as in those days long ago, Nothing will make me sleep
My Brother says he will fix a heavy Wood Mallet over my head thread it through to his room and when i least expect it, he will pull the Cord he said i will sleep then
Anyone got any fool proof ways of dropping off to Sleep, Some of my posts i put on here are 1 to 3 oclock in the morning and two hoyurs after that i am up, outside and working when the Mornings get light enough

I never get a full 8 hours, but not quite as bad as you, Steve. I usually do well with between 5 and 6 hours. I only got about 4 last night (or, actually this morning) so I'll be dragging today. Once asleep though, it's a double edged sword, noise does not arouse me, no matter how loud. I've slept through a smoke alarm, storms, etc. Good thing I have a built in alarm clock, I just wake when I know I have to. I'm sure Drake would paw or lick me in a dangerous situation... hopefully anyway.
