Yep, I have a German Shepherd.
She doesn't have any food allergies.
She has A stamp hip and elbows.
She doesn't bark at the neighbors.
She's not dog aggressive.
She doesn't pull on the leash.
She takes her baths with little more than a 'why me Mom?' look.
She lets me clip her toes, peer in her nose, play with her tongue, rub her ears.
She loves the vet, only tries to hide under a chair when it comes time to check the 'girlie' parts.
She rides fine in the car.
Going on 3 years now, never heard her growl.
No hot spots or other coat ailments.
Doesn't jump the fence.
Doesn't chase cats in fact never put her mouth on anything smaller than she was.
Has a SchH I
Lives in the house but is just as happy outside in her yard.
Will sleep contentedly in her crate.
... have I missed anything?
Just felt that with all the 'problems' that we keep seeing posted about our beloved breed, it would be nice to maybe talk about the dogs in our lives who are healthy, mentally stable and emotionally happy with us and their lives.

Damn it!
Then why do I have to keep shelling out money for food and picking up poop???

I advise you to take her out and shoot her!!

OMG VM you think so??
She's doing this utterly strange thing where tufts of hair are bunching from under her coat and falling out. Maybe I should have her euthanized?
Course, don't know what the local birds would use for their nests then.

I hate those tufts of hair! Shedding is finally slowing to a few barrels a day, but the tufts still keep coming from the strangest places, from his feet to his ears! The birds are nice and comfy

I have to give my girl props, she always sheds on her haunches and upper thighs of her back legs. No where else.
It's like she orders all undercoat to the back and then off!
Of course, knowing her that's exactly what she does.

RLHAR, I saw little birdies on my front porch pilfering white dog hair from my old foster GSD! Cracked me up! I probably should have shot them, too, eh? They are those powder puff-looking wads like Travels mentioned...my neighbor calls them puppies, as in "I have Sam puppies lying all over my house!"
I gotta go outside and shoot my puppies right now. They are yapping.
