What do you use for your bite command? There are so many and I heard packen was not allowed?
I personally will be using the Czech commands from now on, but I was just curious

Who said you can't use packen?
by zdog on 24 May 2010 - 13:05
I think it was changed in the rules that you can't give a "bite" command on the courage test in schutzhund anymore. I think this was a few years ago. By that time in training, your dog knows what's comming, let the collar go or just cough and your dog is going to do what it does. Stupid rule I think, not sure if it's still even a current rule.

How about "Fass"?

by Rugers Guru on 24 May 2010 - 15:05
Well, maybe thats why I was not sure about it..... I don't do Schutzhund. I heard it from a very knowledgable friend of mine. I will be using "Drz" (dursh)

that all happened about 14 yrs ago. i think people pretty much use whatever command they want----if they even use one. those who use "packen" just don't say it loud enough for anyone else to hear. ;)
