THIS IS HIS POST FROM ANOTHER WEBSITE....
Zeus is going to a new home. sux but he is not the working dog I thought he was. Been taking him to training for the last 2 months 3-5 days a week & he just doesnt have it. his prey drive is not as that high, his confidence is low. he has good nerves, not afraid of shit, stands his ground, but will not chase or wander to far from me. hes a GREAT family pet but not what im looking for. he will be going to nice family with kids.friends of the training group im in. gonna start over, alot more research, & from proven past litters.
I just need some advise to keep this dude from getting rid of his dog and show some faith to give the GSD a chance..!!
thanks guys

If the dog suits best as a family pet companion then he is better of there this dude has not given the dog a chance and I feel he does not deserve such a faithfull dog this dude sounds to me as if he wants instant success and that he is not going to get it takes a load of hard work and faith in the dog good luck to the dog and that he gets a loving forever home that deserves him

Glad he is not my husband, or he may well have got rid of me, because I do not fulfil the role and expectations of a required 'House-wife'!!!
I remember years ago having a potential Show Puppy (not GSD breed) - did not however prove to be of high Show quality. Disappointed in not being able to continue in that hobby at the time, but in no way disappointed with my lovely dog. He was a much valued member of our Pack.
It sometimes seems like a throw-away society, if you don't measure up - get rid!!! How sad.
I suppose at least he is being honest with his feelings and future of this dog. Rather than just keep him with a begrudging attitude, he has hopefully found this dog an excellent caring and appreciative home.
Regards,
Vixen

To funny, the guy most likely has no clue what he may really have. Let the dog go to someone who will offer forever home. Sounds like a win for the dog to me.
