help stop this "breeder" - Page 1

she links this site on her page like she is promoting the same type of dog and she is not.

I have 2 dogs from this breeder,  she takes exceptional care of her dogs, loves them to death, shows in UKC conformation, does alot of health tests,  is active in obed., and herding with her dogs, won't breed a dog who won't pass health test.  and won't breed a dog with a questionable temperment.

what do you find wrong with her?  cause she has some non standard colors?  get a life and worry about your own dogs.  there are far worst things to worry about.

She places most of her pups into pet/obed homes.  has only SOLD 1 pup in over a year,  the rest were just given to people.  so she's not out to cash in on the "rare" color bandwagon.  She would rather give a pup to a good home than make money off them.

She is active with breed clubs in her state.

what have you done here lately?

she claims to produce working dogs but doesn't work her dogs. She claims to be more than she is, she is a backyard breeder. She only tests hips and elbows. Her titles consist of basic OB, and herding instinct -- hardly a working title. The fact that she is forced to give away dogs is a dead give away that she is producing dogs no one wants and she should stop breeding.

I am a member of a state police and working dog association We’re an affiliate club of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America – Working Dog Association, or – “GSDCA-WDA” I am also an LEO in the k9 unit. I know a few things about working dogs and what it takes to prove a dog can work. This person is not doing so. 

not looking to argue, anyone can look at her site and judge for themself.

Excuse me but last time I checked this site was a pedigree Database for German Shepherd dogs.

How exactly is she dishonoring this site?

Nowhere on her site does she try to sell her dogs as something that they aren't.

If you have a personal problem with the breeder please don't try to use this site to discredit them it's not what this place is about.

I would like to post pics of my girl Penny, aka Loujuan's Penny Lane. granted she isn't your blk/red showline, or even your top BSP working line,  but I LOVE this dog.  she has an incredible temperment, very intelligent, beautiful/balanced strcuture with a solid/strong back, strong rear drive and nice front reach.  She also has a beautiful thick coat.  I can't say enough about this girls temperment,  She lives to please, learns faster than most gsd I have owned, plus I love how she deals with new  people.  She isn't aggressive once introduced, loves children.  If we have workers at the house,  She will position herself between me and them and just observes, isn't excitable and doesn't have to interact with them.

and did I mention I think she is just beautiful?  Parents have OFA's and PennHip and BVA scores, sire is a  Holland import UKC Champion and did compete in herding until his trainer moved.




I do not have any pictures of the bi-color boy I am raising from Loujuan's,  but hopefully will soon.  he also has a great temperment,  good prey drives, super smart,  very strong desire to please and has been totally trustworthy inside since the day he arrived.  I would not hesitate to recommend Susan to anyone and would have no problem placing one of my dogs with her.

She isn't FORCED to give them away.    She values the home more than the $$$ for her pups.  She feeds a total RAW food diet to her dogs, is actively showing several young ones at the moment. Raw diet is not cheap.  She spends over $600 alone just on food a month. She does work in obedience and will start titling dogs soon.  Since when is obedience not working?

She has placed quite a few service dogs,  her pups are getting advanced obed. titles with their owners.  just cause it isn't listed on her site, doesn't mean they are not getting titles.

as for health tests, a few of her dogs just came back OFA Cardiac normal,  eyes get checked ect.

Is the Standard just a joke to this breeder  ?

That is a very pretty girl Uber!  Maybe the poster has some problem with the breeder and cant manage to deal with it correctly.  Sounds like they are in need of some obedience training ;-)
