A person's dog growled at my dog and the owner said that her dog doesn't growl and then asked us whether my guy was neutered and I said no. She said that her dog growled since her dog is jealous since he doesn't have his "balls" anymore.
Is this even a worthy reason for the growl?!?!?

No!

It growled because she has an undisciplined dog that she is crediting with having human emotions. She would be a buyer for the neuticles, no doubt...but then he would growl because he feels inferior knowing they are fake. LOL

LOL, well maybe they have neuticles in XL, hehe.. He can walk around singing that AC/DC song "Big Balls"
On a serious note, Deb is correct. Her dog needs discipline. I can see a dog being jealous of attention it's owner is giving another dog, or even person attention, but jealous because he doesn't have testicles? Nope, he doesn't even know they're gone. Betcha he'd have acted even worse if he DID have them. It's a training issue for sure.

And just wanted to add, with the jealousy thing, my own dogs are "allowed" to look displeased/jealous if I am lavishing praise on another of my dogs, or someone else's but they are not allowed to growl at other dogs. Period!

THE LADY WAS 100% CORRECT. HER DOG GROWLED BECAUSE HE WAS SUFFERING FROM A SEVERE CASE OF COJONES ENVY. COJONES ENVY IS A VERY SERIOUS CONDITION AND JUST ONE MORE REASON TO LEAVE MALE DOGS IN TACT. NOTHING WORSE FOR A NUETERED MALE THAN TO HEAR THE CRUEL TERM GROW SOME COJONES.

lol.....I'd say she was a nut case to say that. Did you honestly believe it when she said it?
