This video shows a search warrant served by the Columbia Mo. police department.
The cops bust in this guys house in the middle of the night and shoot his two dogs (one a pit bull that was Caged in the kitchen and the other a Welsh Corgi) with children in the home.
It turns out that rather than a big time drug dealer, this guy had a small pipe with some resin in it, a grinder, and what the cops here call "a small amount of marijuana" (meaning  a few joints).

That's horrible!!! Well I can see those kids hating LEOs after that!! I know I would be pissed off to no end.

Does it seem that this is becoming more common?  What the hell?  They said the Pit was "acting aggressively" but gave no reason for shooting the Corgi in a crate!  WHAT?

That video was very upsetting.  The "Goons" should not be in LE -- they should be fired !   Absolutely no reason to shoot the dogs.   Do you know if the dogs died?

I can't comment...my stomach is knotted.....horrific by any person's standards.

The Pit died, the Corgi did not.

It's only gonna get worst.

Well the fact that they felt justified in shooting the dogs is disgusting enough, but there was also a child in the house while they were discharging their weapons! What if God forbid that child ran out of the room, and these morons mistook the child for something else. The pit wasn't acting aggressively either, it was trying to RUN AWAY from them. I could comment further but why? This was all so senseless!

Senseless, as been so many other similar occurances.  That poor kid will never be the same.  He may not have been physically injured, no thanks to LE, but he will, none the less, be scarred for life.  Very, very sad.

Moons you are so right about that....a lot of tension and uncertainty --- it is like waiting for the next shoe to drop.....
