Well, what a day I had today. I had to go to work this morning and forgot that the marathon was today, DUH. I can usually snake my way around through back street but so many streets were closed, it took me two hours to get there, ususally a 15 minute drive. Anyway, when I finally got close, I tried to ask a cop if I could just cross Liberty Ave. during a lull and was told "No, they have a suspected explosive device so the closure is complete." I didn't think much of it as there have been many scares that come to nothing. I had to park and walk over a mile in the rain to get to work. I was just reading the news and saw that they actually had detonated a pipe bomb that was in a microwave, sitting on the sidewalk near the bus station (right near the finish line)! When I was sitting on Grant St. for 30 minutes, I never imagined! I was a block away. Now I'm reading about the car bomb in Times Square. This is insanity!

I'll tell you one thing, it's not the "hippies" trying to blow stuff up.

More then likely it was rightwing fanatics trying to enact their states’ rights agenda because of a black President!
