Here is my (almost) three year old male, Galan. I just started him in Schutzhund about 6 or so months ago and he is coming along nicely, considering I had serious health problems that rendered me useless for a couple of months. I have never tried to stack him on my own and make him stay there, always tried to hold him where I wanted him, so these are not very good pictures but it was the best I could do. LOL Besides, he thought he was in trouble since I never make him just stand there and stay, so more experienced people will probably notice he was a bity hunched and kept trying to inch into a more natural position. The only reason his ears are up is because I started howling, yes howling. He thought that was pretty cool and even wagged his tail. :-)

He looks fluffy and clean. I would stack him for ya if I were there. You did a better job stacking Jena...try the same thing with Galan. Although I have found it is harder to stack working lines....Dar was a pain for the longes time and hated to be stacked. He has got better at it though. Galan is a stocky guy.

I give up stacking him lol...Come on over and spend a weekend in Vegas :-D Dogs welcome for the weekend!!!
That was indeed just after a bath and a full bag of dead hair being brushed off... He weighs about hmmm 65 or so pounds, so not a big dog but man is he FAST!!!!!!!!!
Back to stacking and conformation... That first one really is BAD lolol...wow But I won't delete it. It's a good example for other newbies on how not to stack a dog LOL

Thanks Lavk9!
pjp,
This picture is just for you...That was my first attempt at stacking him several months ago. He stuck his tongue out to show me what HE thinks of being "stacked"
I like his pedigree too. And he is a lot of dog in a small package for sure! I am proud of him :-)

Very nice looking dog. Is he small? He looks very solid! How tall is he?

by VomRuiz on 22 April 2010 - 01:04
He is small, about 65-67 pounds... You know I have never taken a tape measure to him but I will see if I can find one around here... Measure from the top of the withers right?

Yup, for that weight, I'm guessing 24.5" See if I'm close.
He looks heavier in pics!
