I would like to go and watch a few GSD's in the ring - are there any shows on local to the west midlands this weekend i could go and watch ?

Not that I know of... West Yorks was last weekend, you'd have really enjoyed that, I think. Can you get to Sth Scotland Ch show next weekend? Maybe someone more local to you knows of an open show with a good judge.

i do know of a breed club show this sunday.its NORTH WALES ALSATIAN.dont be put off by the word alsatian.it will be wot one calls middle of the road animals.its in shotton somewhere?i,ll try to see if i can get full address for yu from a FB.friend Carole Spelman

All breed Open Show at Stafford County Showground on Sunday, 3 classes for GSD's judge Mr M Hammond (Rangemoore) - don't know who this is or what type will be entered. When I judged there a few years back Pam Edgington entered her dogs (and got Best of Breed!) - she is the lady thrown out of Crufts with the 5 month old puppy.
Judging starts at 10 but the GSD's won't be first in.

thank yu doppledanger.the judge mr.hammond is on the international gsd side.as yu say ,dont know how many exhibits,prob.not many ,unfortunately.these days not too many attend open shows,more,s the pity.would have thought that there might be more at NWA.judge there is a Mrs.Celia Vines,middle of the road i think.Carole.

Thank you both, county showground is much closer for me so i will go there tomorrow and take a look, see if i can learn :)

I will be stewarding for my friend who is judging the Working Group, if you wear a red carnation I will try to find you and then you might learn something lol.
