There's been some discussion on this topic, before.. ongoing, really. It's OK to disagree on things and even bad language might be OK, even if in poor taste.
Posting someone's address and phone number, or even threatening to, can be prosecuted as a serious crime. There have already been court precedents on this very matter. One animal rights group allegedly targetted a laboratory and allegedly posted the names addresses and phone numbers of employees, officers and those of other companies that did business with said laboratory, with the result that said persons and their homes were sabotaged. The offending parties were found, prosecuted and did serious time in prison.
NO ONE is invited to MY home unless I specifically agree or invite them. For that matter, I don't have the same address, anymore, but I can check from time to time with the current occupant to see if anything strange is going on. Be careful that there is not videosurveillance in place, by the way. It's everywhere you don't suspect it, these days.
Under California legal precedents, harassment does NOT need to involve intent. It can be a matter of intent, and / OR interpretation. So, if I FEEL threatened, I can act on that perception. In the case where someone is insulting and accusing me as part of a group, and then posting or threatening to post my address on or over the internet. it would not be unreasonable for me to make an interpretation of threat.
Check out the laws on cyber stalking... These laws are advancing now because it is understood that threats and implied threats can lead to serious and violent crimes against persons.

Don't worry I would never post it on an open forum. Just so you know it is available on the internet so anybody can find it if they really wanted to.
I am done with you and will never post to you again.

That's smart of you to reassure me. I was beginning to worry..
I was just telling someone else that I have a fairly good understanding of law, in part because I have served on so many juries, both civil and criminal, and I have been on one Federal Grand Jury, which lasted over 18 months.
One of the cases I sat on involved charges of sexual harassment. When we got directions from the judge, we were told that harassment was not just a matter of intent or act.. nothing had to be carried out.. It was a matter of interpretation. So, if I interpret a threat, I can act on that. There are both civil and criminal sections to address harassment in the law. You can look in the California section of the link I sent..

We are all having a nice litte debate here.. Let's not cross any lines which should not be crossed..

I believe you omitted your vast experience of the court system as a defendant.
