common practice to show a female locked up to prove she was bred. especially if her owner was not there to witness the breeding.

I've seen the same thing on ads here many times. I agree Steph!

My only question is why is the leash around the back ends of them?

by GSDtravels on 08 April 2010 - 21:04
OMG, I didn't even notice that! Quite a different kind of "tie", huh?
by sarabella on 09 April 2010 - 00:04
pictures are common practice to prove the tie. the leash around the back end is to prevent injury

by Uber Land on 09 April 2010 - 00:04
leash prevents the female from pulling and injuring the male. plus, if you've ever had to sit on the ground and hold two dogs like that for 30-45 minutes, you'd appreciate a leash at that time, lol.
