I buy from Omaha vaccine. I myself swear by the Ivermectin with prazinqual(sp), it treats all worms!!!!!Just get the right dosage, if not from a vet, there is a beagle site that breaks it right down for you. Google it!!!

You may be right. While I found a clause that said, "Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian," it doesn't specifically state that a prescription is required and I have found some sites that list it as available over the counter.

Too strong and not needed.
It can be ordered from www.revivalanimal.com
No need to use it. Nemex, (pyrantel pamoate) other names sold at many places )
safeguard Wormer for puppies, or Goat wormer by Safeguard (Pannacur) same thing
Can be bought at Tractor supply
Note: Another warning on Television last night locally about the Drops people are using on the backs of dogs for Flea control.
Vets are squirming over this as a big money making part of their front office is selling you Frontline, etc. There has always been a danger but it seems we paid no attention but now the FDA is getting involved and making these companies change the products..
DOES THAT NOT CAUSE YOU TO DO SOME CHANGE>.
DE is first bag of insect detection and prevention I am making..I will put it on them , in the food source and in there bed.
Around the house, in flowerbeds, barns and in feed for horses, etc.(FOOD GRADE)
my opinion

The pet vets have these things pretty well locked up so they make money on it.. anything prescription (and everything is). Livestock lobbies have protected the right of their constituents and the industry to provide routine self-help on vaccinations, worming, de-horning and other practices which a veterinarian MIGHT do but which would be not economical for ranchers.

I've always used strongid T and panacur. I start strongid T at 2 weeks and do once a week till they leave. I do a 3 day round of panacur at 6 weeks too.
