Wow You Never Know Who your Dealing With - Page 1

Last Friday I was contacted by a client that purchased a dog from us last year. She was an 11 month old female with an  excellent temperment and came from really nice bloodlines. The wife had said that they are very unhappy with her and would like their money back. I then told them to return her and I would refund their money. She then said she wanted to keep her and wanted a refund also which I told her that would not happen without the return of her..

After talking to her I sent them an email stating that I would like to come out and evaluate her as she had told me that she was growling at her daughter and I couldn't understand why they would want to keep her with this prblem happening there. Well the weekend came and gone and yesterday I sent another email stating that I would like to come out there when the 2 of them were home so that I could see the dog in question. Then I got this threatening email back last night. This has a bit of strong langrange



( Listen here you stupid fuck , Mike W a friend who is the Head of K-9 Training for IL. Police Dogs and Judge for the academy and a police officer has been investigating you. If you ever come on my property at any time, I will take you out in a second. If you come anywhere near my family I will break your fucking neck. Got it dirt bag!!! If you harass my wife again, I will be forced to wipe you out !!! )




Now I have a real bad gut feeling this guy is trying to hide something. What would all of you do? I have filed a report with the Sheriff's Dept so far but would like to know what you all would do had you been in my shoes

I'd contact Mike West directly and ask him what the story is.  I would also provide the email to Mike and ask if he really is friends with these people.  I would want to know if he has seen the dog and how the temperamnet is and how it's being treated?

You did right to file the Sheriff's report as you were directly threatened.  I think wifey-poo told a story to her husband.  You said it was the wife who asked for a refund, not the husband?  So husband probably got a totally different story from wifey-poo, one about you "harassing" her.  Asking for money back and keeping the dog?  Ridiculous of course.

Keep copies of EVERYTHING you hear from these people and EVERYTHING you've said to them, and keep your communications clean and reasonable.  Don't let them lure you into bad language or threats or anything other than true, respectful concern for them, their daughter, the dog, and your willingness to help.  Don't ever go to their place alone, should you go.  Ever.

 

 

 

WOW....  Harsh words!! Sorry this happened to you. I don't breed, but if I were in that situation I think I would do the same thing and file a report. Then ask why they are so upset, maybe re-read your emails to them, just to make sure there was nothing that could have been taken out of context. Again sorry you have to deal with this type of anxiety.

wow thats not good...I would call Mike as well and see what he says and ask about the dog and how she is and if he really has any association with these people...They dont seem to swift to me with that kind of email something aint right..
Why would you be under investigation that seems like a load of bull too...Something aint right at their house is what IM feeling...Maybe the dog aint there ??

Breaks my heart that your dog is with these people. Not much you can do if they refuse to cooporate. I would keep all communications with them.  Check the shelter around them, and rescuses, They may not have her anymore. I would give a flyer to the shelters and rescues if she comes in you will take her back. After being with that jerk, she may need some rehab.

Sounds like the guy is psycho. Maybe the husband and wife don't talk much because they do not seem to be on the same page thats for sure. I would also call Mike West as Slamdunc suggested.

For sure call Mike ASAP

Right now my concern is the dog. I have no way as to finding Mike, but will try to look this guy up today. I also when I find Mike ask him if he knows that this guy used his name with this threat and also ask him if he has seen this dog. I'm in the process of waiting for my State inspector to get back to me as this morning all I got was his voice mail.

But my main worry is to see that this female is being taken care of and that she is still there and also hasn't been abused
