Can anyone out there tell me any experiences or opinions regarding the Salztalblick dogs? I see that they are a very prolific kennel with an excellent production record for working dogs.
I just saw a picture of the dog Shadow vom Salztalblick. That, to me, is the quintessential working GSD. He looks to be as close to perfection as any dog I have seen, anatomically. I know this type of dog can produce true working dogs.
Can anyone comment on this dog? Is he still alive? Still being used for breeding?

I knew the sire of this dog, Xyrus. He was all male but very level headed. I had a Salztal-Hohe female that is great. One on my girls is by Donaro vom Salztalblick, she is a lot of fun. They have some very nice dogs.
