We were able to raise just over $1,300.00 for the American Cancer Society. It was great fun and we had a wonderful turnout. Luckily the rain held out until it was over. It was great to compete without all the pressure of judging and scores, etc. Hope we can meet more of you next time! If any other clubs would be interesting in hosting a schutzhund olympics, we would be glad to share our rules/games, etc. I could also locate a Bark for LIfe that you could partner with if you were interested in raising money in your area for the ACS or any other charity.
Again, a big thank you to all the people who came out to compete as well as my incredible club who ran with the idea and put in alot of hard work to make the event successful.
My favorite was the DJ playing limbo music as the dogs moved thru the high jump line. Very cool. I have to figure out how to upload my videos to utube so I can share.
