ivan was a fine dog and was long ago ready for his SchH title. Unfortunately, he hurt himself jumping and we could never diagnose what was injured or effect any kind of treatment that healed what was preventing him from jumping. Despite repeated long rests, over months at a time, he was never able to jump again and so he just lived the good life. He was shown many times and was SG rated (the highest rating without a SchH title) and would have surely earned a "V" rating had he gotten his title. I am confident he could have easily achieved SchH3 had he not been injured. He had a wonderful temperament, loved people and loved to work. He was one of my favorite dogs and I shall miss him.
Sleep well dear Ivan and thank you for teaching me so much and for allowing me to love you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. No matter when it comes, there is always an empty place when our friends leave.

I'm sorry to hear that Hodie. That must have been quite a shock. I'm glad he died peacefully.
