Check this out.......Is this a great opportunity to produce pups that, like the dam, can be chained with heavy, short chain and left outside without shelter?

...and apparently any old stud will do, long as he's the right color. Sigh. Definitely more dogs bound for the pound.

That's a shame.
She is very pretty.

The size of the chain, not to mention that she is chained to begin with without shelter, makes me think of the idiots around the eastern part of my county where they hide the fact that they are breeding pit bulls for fighting and selling to drug addicts and dealers. Fortunately, in many states now, it is against the law to chain a dog like this. This person should be ashamed, but I bet not. The dog is for making money.....

She is a nice looking girl. Hopefully she is just tied to that post once in a while.

I checked out the ad Hodie posted above...I really don't think the bitch is tied there all the time...The snow is way too clean for a dog to live there all the time.
I don't see anything wrong with the dog being on that chain...As long as she is not spending all her time there, without shelter, there's nothing wrong with it. And unless you contact that person, you don't know what they are looking for, exactly...They listed the preferred colors of the stud, but I bet if anyone had the decency to call this person they might find that the owner has preferences as to pedigree..They do specify titled, BTW.
It's easy to sit around and say for sure that this person is a horrible person and must be unethical, because they have their bitch tied up...But maybe they couldn't get a good enough picture in her kennel, or they didn't have anyone to take the picture for them...Far too many possibilities for anyone to make that judgement call.
And she's a nice looking girl, too. She's healthy.

I use a chain set up sometimes, this doesn't look like a correct one tho.
For some reason the name sounds familiar to me.

It just looks like a tie out chain spot. there is not shit or pee. If it's just a tie out no need for a house. What type of chain set up is correct to tie a dog out to take a few pics?

A chain must be heavy to keep it from knotting and so it will roll on the ground.
It must be free at the base to revolve full circle without binding up, the base should be elevated, swivels must be at both ends and not bind.
The collar should be wide and not so loose as to be slipped off, a chain should be at least 8' to give 16' feet of travel.
No foreign objects (roots, limbs) in the area to catch the chain.
Shelter must be within the chain but not so close the dog can get behind it, food and water should be on the highest ground just within reach, again not to be pulled into the path of the chain.
The post in the picture shows wear at the base and has been used more than just for a photo, also a bowl turned over is in view.
A picture has it's limitations.

I feel like asking them to put a price on her but if i did that to every chained GSD I see on here i would end up as a dog collector .
